I’m Liz!

I’m a Florida beach girl turned Pacific Northwest mountain dweller who’s taken “adventure” and “compassion” to heart. People often say I’m “the mother hen” with a “heart of gold”—sure, mostly my mom says that, but I like to think it rings true. I’m naturally drawn to leadership, the first to ask questions, and the one making sure everyone is cared for, valued, and heard. I’ve also grown to learn the importance of balance: work hard, play hard, and live fully.

When I’m not leading a club, team, or creative project, I’m likely pushing boundaries in my own life as an adrenaline junkie with a goal to travel to all seven continents (four down so far!). I seek experiences rooted in cultural immersion, eager to connect with people and places by learning to be comfortable in the unknown. A few life highlights include bungee jumping solo in New Zealand (twice), scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, summiting Mt. St. Helens, sleeping in a tent for eight weeks in the Belizean backcountry, building houses in a Mayan village, dancing and drumming with Ghanaian schoolchildren, skydiving on my 18th birthday, pulling off epic surprise parties, and collecting 150+ fortune cookie messages to manifest it all.

I lead with a people-first attitude, seeing every encounter, connection, and adventure as an opportunity to bring a little more empathy and appreciation into the world. My mom has captured every second of my life in over 300 scrapbooks (a priority to save during hurricane season), and I use this as a reminder to just live a life that makes each picture worth keeping.
